Leadership Team

Carmel Pratt is the founder of ZAZNRG, a human-centered sustainability practice integrating building science and mindfulness. A building scientist, energy consultant, and community organizer, she works at the intersection of people and buildings– advancing decarbonization, climate justice, and environmental education. Carmel also serves as Executive Director of New York Passive House, scaling healthy, comfortable, resilient, carbon-neutral buildings for all. In this role, she is a servant leader supporting and enabling our community of practitioners to succeed in transforming the built environment for a clean energy future.
