PHN Presents: Fire Rebuild Competition

Description

Join the 2025 California Rebuilds Design Competition winning teams to mark the publication of the competition catalog and discuss their projects, their motivations, and what comes next in thinking about future disaster resilience and the strategies to address them. The design competition set out to develop a catalog of high-performance, fire-resilient homes to inspire, inform, and challenge rebuilding efforts. Entries not only needed to meet Passive House and fire-resilience targets but also address affordability and aging in place, and to honor the architectural legacy of the region. The catalog represents another milestone, and this event marks the beginning of the next phase of outreach and awareness-building.
